The O'Rourke Middle School New Student Breakfast will be held on Thursday, October 11th. New students can bring a new buddy along, as well as their parents/guardians. Invitations have been mailed home. Please return the RSVP slip to the Counseling Center by October 9th. Hope to see you there!
Report cards for the first quarter will be distributed to students at the end of the day on Monday, November 19th. Please make sure to check your child's backpack!

As students progress from one grade to the next, their counselor moves with them, providing continuity and time to really get to know students and their parents. At O’Rourke Middle School, the school counselor focuses on helping students balance the demands of school, family and friends. Special attention is paid to teaching "life skills" such as organization, study skills, time management, responsibility, cooperation, teamwork and other habits and attitudes that will serve students well in any classroom, job or social situation.
