Get ready, get set...and go show off your talents in the annual BH-BL Follies being held Friday, April 13 and Saturday, April 14 at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium. Auditions for the Follies are Monday, March 26 from 6 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, March 27 from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the middle school cafetorium.
It’s not too late to join in the savings with School Banking! Students earn a prize with every fifth deposit and up to $60 a year with CAPCom’s "Great Grades" and reading programs. Students can pick up an application from the School Banking volunteers on Friday morning in the cafeteria before classes start. If you have a child entering kindergarten in the 2018-19 school year and he or she is not yet on our list of incoming students please contact Registrar Jackie Martini at 518-399-9141, ext. 85002 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Registration packets will be mailed to parents Thursday, Feb. 22; the Kindergarten Informational Meeting is Monday, March 5 at 7 p.m. at Pashley Elementary School; and registration is Monday and Tuesday, March 12 and 13 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Stevens Elementary School.
If your child is being picked up at dismissal or early during the day for an appointment, please be sure to send in a completed green pick-up form or note with your child that day. The name of the person picking up the child should be included so we can properly check identification. Emailing the office to notify us of your child being picked up should be used for last minute changes only. Pick-up slips are available from the main office. A bus pass should be sent in whenever your child is taking a different bus on a given day. Bus passes are also available in the main office.
Last school year, the BH-BL Food Service Department began offering elementary school students the option to buy breakfast at school. Breakfast will be available each morning from 8:20-8:40 in the cafeteria. Students may purchase a well-balanced breakfast for $1.50, and may pay with cash or from their individual cafeteria accounts. Students who want to buy breakfast should go directly to the cafeteria upon arrival at school. Remember, a good start to the day begins with a healthy meal. [BREAKFAST MENU]
